Former Formula 1 designer and McLaren maestro Gordon Murray is behind the design. The remodelled Batmobiles are not new. In the latest edition, Murray and Co have kept the outside of the motor monster more realistic, choosing a subtler shape compared to the Tim Burton-era or Chris Nolan knockout roller in latest Dark Knight film.
Though it is powered by emission-less hydrogen-powered fuel cell, Wayne has not gone completely green with it still employing an afterburner. By any standards, there isn’t any doubt that Gordon Murray has created a charming and pragmatic F1-style, hydrogen-powered Batmobile.
The green monster sports front-mounted lasers, sonar and virtual wheels — diodes in the wheel that would create a high-voltage field lifting the car 40mm off the ground. It also has lots of LEDs to woo the audience.
If you are fortunate to be England or in Europe when the show goes on stage, you will be lucky enough to witness the green Batmobile doing wonders on the podium
