Second testing ended with a happy note. All the drivers and teams have gained a lot of information and experience for their new cars. The four day of testing has seen many driver breaching 1min 20 barrier but it was only Rubens to reach 1min 19.

Fourth day of testing had also seen rain just before the end of the session. At the end, only few teams tried out with wet rubber, but it was difficult to identify whether the tyres were intermediate or wet. They were all lapping around 1min 35 during rain.

As usual, lot of red flags were seen due to one or other problems. But it was just regular, as in testing red flags often come, when any of the car stops on track or outside track, not an usual site during racing.

Kamui Kobayashi surprised with second fastest at the end of day with 1min 20.601sec as the lap time.

Crowd favourite Fernando Alonso placed the Ferrari third. This time also came during a short morning run before he switched to long, heavy-fuel stints for the afternoon. He did three runs of between 16 and 20 laps, with a pace drop-off of around two seconds from start to finish.

One of the best teams in Formula One, Ferrari, showed sign of winning the constructor's championship this year as their performance was remarkable during all four days at Jerez Test.

Bruno Senna was fifth fastest for the day, but Lotus Renault team boss Eric Boullier has already ruled Bruno out of being in contention for the drive, because he doesn't meet the team's requirement of being an experienced driver.

Red Bull does not show any sign of top runners for all four days of Jerez Test. But the team assured a better run and said everything is fine.

Force India Paul Di Resta was last for today's testing as the car ran with few problems and also they were putting the mileage for the VJM04.

The next official F1 test takes place at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya on February 18-21. It will be the third out of four official pre-season testing this season. The team performance and hope for constructor championship will take picture in Barcelona. Barcelona will allow us to analyze how the teams will perform with the new car. Also Pirelli will bring the identifiers on the tyres, so we will be getting info on tyres also.
