Formula 1 racing will resume next week with the German GP which is scheduled to take place at Nurbergring. This time around there are plenty of German drivers racing this year which includes legendary Michael Schumacher, current world champion Sebastian Vettel, Nico Rosberg and Adrian Sutil. In the recent races, Mercedes have again turn the table to their side, however the luck is not favouring them at the moment. They have a car to compete the top order and the right mix of drivers. With some luck, they can again come to winning ways. Nico Rosberg to drive Juan Manuel Fangio’s Mercedes
Apart from all these drivers there is one thing more which is the all ‘German dream team’ of Mercedes. The legendary German manufacturer Mercedes is competing in its home race with other two German drivers legendary and multiple time world champion Michael Schumacher and one of the most talented driver on the Formula 1 grid Nico Rosberg.

The home team is racing in its home grand prix with the home drivers what else you need to make you your weekend perfect. Though Mercedes is not the strongest team to challenge for the race win but they can challenge for a podium position. They have come close to achieve it with Michael at the Canadian GP but didn’t able to do so.
The legendary Mercedes team had made their debut in 1954 but they have not won any constructors title from then on however, they have won two driver’s title in that period. Mercedes have won 9 races and taken 8 pole positions with 9 fastest laps. Mercedes left formula 1 in 1955 but continued in the sport as an engine supplier and also with the partnership like silver arrows and Brawn GP.
However, they become a Formula 1 team after a long time in 2010 after overtaking Brawn GP. They signed Nico Rosberg and a comeback legend Michael Schumacher. Mercedes didn’t prove to be competitive as they were before. However, Nico achieved some podium finishes in the season with not so competitive Mercedes and Michael’s comeback was the disappointing as he didn’t able to achieve any podium.
Mercedes finished their comeback season on fourth place ahead of Renault with 214 points. In the current season Mercedes is not upto speed but they want to turn their fortunes. They would like it to turn in their home grand prix and make it a memorable one.
Mercedes GP driver Nico Rosberg is expected to drive Juan Manuel Fangio’s Mercedes W196 at Nurburgring before the German Grand Prix for a demonstration run.
“Coming to the Nürburgring for the German Grand Prix always feels very special to me. There is so much history around this amazing track, especially for Mercedes-Benz with great drivers from the past having had such successful times on the Nürburgring and the legendary Nordschleife,” said Rosberg.
Rosberg is hoping of pulling this stunt off and it is going to be a very historic moment for the young driver.
“This year, I will have the opportunity to drive Juan Manuel Fangio’s car from 1954 on the amazing old circuit, and that will be very special,” said the German driver.
The W196 helped Fangio secure the victory at the German Grand Prix back in 1954 which took place at Nurburgring after which the legendary driver secured a handful of race wins using the car.
Fangio is a former Formula 1 world champion and is considered as one of the most legendary drivers to step into the Formula 1 world.
