Red Bull is set to expand its motoring foray beyond the championship winning Formula One team. “Red Bull used to be known only as an energy drink company, but now it is recognized as an engineering team,” Horner said. “It’s a natural evolution for us to get involved in road car engineering.”
Autocar is reporting that Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner told them that he wants to use Red Bull Racing’s expertise outside of the realm of Formula 1.
With a Formula 1 Constructors Championship under its belt last year and a current first place standing in the 2011 F1 season, it sounds like Red Bull Racing’s expertise could be to good use by Infiniti.
