Nico Hulkenberg and his Manager Willi Weber parted their ways

Force India reserve and third driver Nico Hulkenberg splits from his Manager Willi Weber who had earlier managed numerous German drivers famously Michael Schumacher. Also his brother Ralf Schumacher and Timo Scheider.

Willi was with Nico since the start of his career or one can say that Willi managed to provide a debut to Nico with Williams. He had contacted Renault in 2008 for Nico, then Williams test driver in 2009 and provided him his F1 debut with Williams in 2010. In 2011, he lost his Williams seat to cash backed Pastor Maldonado and was forced to be test and reserve for Force India. He is allowed to take part in Friday's First Practice Sessions for all the races this season and could make a move to grab the seat in 2012.

Nico Hulkenberg was even given the nickname " The Hulk " by Willi Weber after the fictional superhero.

A statement on Hulkenberg's website said: "Nico Hulkenberg and manager Willi Weber part their ways.

He will "from now on take management matters in his own hands", supported by his former PR advisor Timo Gans.

"Both sides are currently working on a smooth changeover and on a satisfying solution for everyone,".
