Force India team’s Principal, Vijay Mallya, has said that his team is still evaluating whether the upgrades will appear on ‘VJM04’ car in up-coming race weekend, or the team has to wait until the Monaco race later this month.

Force India started the 2011 season on a promising note with four points from races in Australia and Malaysia. But the team failed to capitalise on the impressive qualifying pace set by drivers Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta in the China and Turkey and finished without points.

The team tried out a new front-wing concept in recent Turkish race weekend, but that was unable to make good progress in the race, as it was wet due to the rain. However, after the grand prix, Force India has been pushed to bring a series of upgrades in the pipeline of the car, for their upbeat results in the remaining season. But, the team still remains unsure on when car’s latest updates package will be appeared to race on the grid.

On the other hand, the team's driver, Paul Di Resta mentioned that Force India needs to make improvements in its running, if they really want to fight for their supportive points.

Due to its worst performance in Turkish race, the team is again looking forward to getting the new front-wing on the car as soon as possible, because due to have rain, it was unable to give its supportive role at the qualifying round and race day also.

Di Resta further added that all teams are planning to bring updates over the further few races, as they want to face their challenging races of the season. So, Force India team also needs to deliver some changes to their car for the upbeat results.

He went on to say, “We evaluated a new front wing in Istanbul and we hope to have more steps coming through in the near future. The team has been working hard on this new concept and everybody is quite upbeat about its race introduction, so that's something to look forward to."

The Scotsman had an impressive start in ongoing season. However, he is still interested to finish his good stint on the race track. The Barcelona race will take place on May 22, at the Circuit de Catalunya, in Spain.
