15min before the race start:
All the cars on track, except that of Timo Glock, Virgin Racing Team.
Timo Glock car has gear box problem. Team is desperately fixing the problem. If they could, then Timo will start the race from the pit lane.
Formation Lap:
All the front running drivers are on softer compound tyres. Tyres are pre heated almost to 100 degree Celsius.
Formation Lap completed nice and trouble free. Glock is still in the garage. Kobayashi on hard tyres, he will try the Mark Webber strategy from China.
Lap 1:
Vettel started clean leading the pack, Rosberg up in Second. Slow start for Webber. Hamilton slipping onto grass, dropped him behind button. Alonso up in 4th position. Michael up in 7th position. Kobayashi already up in 20th position. Heidfeld in pursuit of Petrov nearly contacted at the back of the car. Meanwhile Massa overtake Heidfeld. Sergio Perez in for pitstop as he lost his front wing. Glock has not started the race.
Lap 2:
Hamilton hammering his way on button. Contact between Schumacher and Petrov. Schumi lost his front wing and straight went to pits for the change of wing. Dropped him to 22nd. Barrichello up in 9th position. Michael Schumacher unnecessarily contacted with Petrov.
Lap 3.
DRS Enabled. Team asked Petrov about any damage on car, as it seems no damage after that incident.
Lap 4
Massa up for 7th. Kobayashi in 15th.
Lap 5
Webber past Rosberg using DRS and KERS.
Lap 6
Fastest Lap by Sebastian Vettel (Lap 5) 1min 33.762sec. Alonso up to catch Rosberg for 4th position. Alonso tried on Rosberg using DRS but could not get it to pass like Webber did. But Hamilton with the same manouveour done it on Button up in 5th position.

Lap 8:
Fernando Alonso pass Rosberg for 3rd. Button pass Hamilton for 5th. As Mclaren keeps on fighting, it is Massa who come closer to Mclaren. Michael up in 19th.
Lap 10:
Kobayashi in 10th as the first pit lane poker started. Massa just nearly hit Hamilton in the pits as they go side by side in the pits. Hamilton comes out in 11th while Massa in 12th.
Lap 11:
Webber and Alonso in pits. Kobayashi up to 4th from 22nd. He is still to make his pitstop. Michael up in 16th.

Lap 12:
Vettel in pits come out in P2. Massa set the fastest lap for Lap 11 1min 33.498sec.
Button leads the race. Kobayashi after starting from 24th up in 5th. Petrov and Heidfeld hit each other on last corner, Heidfeld is dragged onto the pit window.
Lap 13:
Vettel gaining on Button. Michael up in 14th. Rosberg is being charged by Hamilton and Massa for 6th Position. Barrichello hitting Michael as the old teammates tried to pass each other.
Lap 14:
Button in pits. Button dropped to 7th. Vettel leads the race again. Kobayashi also in pits. Michael up to 12th again.
Lap 16:
As Michael is seen again in battle, now with Kobayashi. Kobayashi tries to pull through Michael using DRS, he tries to avoid and run wide to give position to Sutil and Kobayashi.

Lap 17:
Liuzzi running wide on Turn 8.
Lap 18:
Massa takes on Rosberg for 5th position using DRS.
Lap 19:
Sutil takes on Barrichello for 12th position. Sergio Perez set the fastest lap (lap 18) 1min 32.261sec.
Lap 21:
Massa and Rosberg hitting each other as Massa tried to overtake Rosberg.
Lap 22:
Battle reached to Button with Rosberg as Massa passes Rosberg for 5th position. With DRS enabled, Massa speed in that corner was 320kmph.
Lap 23:
Button steadily climbing, trying his way pass Massa. Alonso up in 2nd position. Rosberg in pits. Dropped to 13th.
Kobayashi and Perez battle is won by Kobayashi.
Lap 24:
Alonso in pits. Massa came just after Alonso. Pit crew had to rush. It dropped Massa to 9th. Only little time was wasted as Pit crew were quick enough for the two drivers. Kobayashi also pitted.

Lap 25:
Barrichello in pits from 6th position. Di Resta also in pits. Driver aiming for 4 pitstop strategy. Red Bull crew ready for the pit stop.
Lap 26:
Race leader Vettel in pits. 3.1sec pit stop for him. Vettel back on track. He made it ahead of everyone, still leads the pack. Webber on 2nd. Sutil in pits. Rosberg up in 8th.
Lap 27:
Fastest lap set by Sebastian Vettel (lap 26) for 1min 31:700 sec.
Lap 29:
Alonso tries on Webber while Massa tries to get pass Petrov.
Lap 30:
Alonso overtakes Webber for 2nd place. Nearly hitting back of the Webber's Car as he make an overtaking manoeuver. Button tries to pass Massa for 6th place.
Lap 31:
There is a three way battle for 5th between Petrov, Massa and Button. Michael in pits. Come out on 14th. Can he make it to chequered flag on these set of tyres.
Lap 32:
There is a change of strategy for drivers as they now try to save tyres. Marbles coming out of the drivers car.
Lap 33:
Battle for 5th continues between Petrov, Massa and Button.
Lap 35:
Hamilton disastrous pit-stop. He was still for 15sec as the crew tries to put front right tyre onto the car. It seems there was a problem locking the tyre. Also, bit of a delay as Massa comes for his routine pit-stop. This will cost him any chance of podium. He really need to work hard to gain positions.
Lap 36:
Webber in pits. This might be the 3rd and last pitstop for the drivers. They may opt for 4 pit-stop strategy also. Massa off the track on grass after coming out of the pits. His tyres still not upto the optimum temperature. Further dropped to 14th. Tries to make up the ground and get pass Kobayashi for 13th. This has caused Webber anychance of podium. He really need to get pass to score some good points for the team. Massa is the winner of Turkey for 3times and known as King of Turkey.
Lap 37:
Alonso in pits. Get out ahead of Webber easily.

Lap 38:
As the new set of tyres taking time to stabilize, few drivers are getting off the track. Fastest Lap by Mark Webber 1min 31.005sec for Lap 37. Webber quickly catching Alonso.
Lap 39:
Alonso responded to Webber by setting the fastest lap for Lap 38 as 1min 30.953sec. Massa closing in on Michael Schumacher.
Lap 40:
Heidfeld closes in on Barrichello.
Lap 41:
Alonso set another fastest lap (Lap 40) 1min 30.434sec. There is a contact between Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello again. Rosberg up in 5th. Michael in 10th as Barrichello pits in. Crew ready for Michael also.
Lap 42:
But later decided not to pit, as it seems everything fine for Schumacher for now.

Lap 44:
Michael is overtaken by Buemi for 11th position.
Lap 45:
Drive through penalty for Pastor Maldonado for speeding in the pit lane. Rosberg in pits. Dropped in to 9th position.
Lap 46:
Webber in pits. This means Red Bull is opting for 4pit-stop strategy. Paul Di Resta is out of the race. He parked his car off the race track. It is race over for Di Resta. There was some problem in the car as it was seen during pits and Force India Team asked him to stop.
Lap 47:
Alonso in pits. Back on track ahead of Webber. Rosberg get pass Massa as Massa also pits for tyres.
Massa right rear tyre stuck to get in, lot of time wasted. Surely a driver mistake, as the car might be in gear. So any chance of scoring a point seems to be over for Massa.
Lap 48:
Webber set the fastest lap of the race (Lap 48) 1min 29.703sec.
All the top drivers except for Button opting for 4pit stop strategy. As the last stop for drivers over, it will straight goes to the podium.
Lap 49:
Webber closing in on Alonso. As 9 laps remaining, battle for 2nd place in on. Button is in 4th position right now. He will try to hang onto the position.
Lap 50:
Hamilton overtakes Button easily for 4th position as he is on fresh tyres.

Lap 51:
Webber wheel to wheel with Alonso. Tries to pass him, Alonso holds the line, try hard to stop him, But could not as DRS enabled Webber get pass Alonso in the last corner for 2nd position.
Lap 52:
Alonso has not lost the hope, as he tries back on Webber, closing him. He fights back to get the position. But Alonso straight line speed is half a second slower to that of Webber. It seems KERS is not working on Webber cars. Red Bull KERS problem is still intact.
Lap 53:

Vettel, Webber, Alonso, Hamilton, Button, Rosberg, Buemi, Heidfeld, Petrov, Kobayashi, Alguersuari, Schumacher, Massa, Sutil, Perez, Barrichello, Maldonado, Trulli, Kovalainen, D'Ambrosio, Karthikeyan, Liuzzi.
Massa and Michael Schumacher fights for 12th position.
Lap 54:
Kobayashi up to 10th position. He started the race on 24th. Its a three way fight between Alguersuari, Schumacher and Massa for 11th position. All three are on the last corner wheel to wheel, trying to pass each other. Schumacher takes advantage, Massa gets inside of Schumacher hammers him onto grass, losses ground to both dropped to 13th.
Lap 55:
Michael Schumacher fights back takes the wider line to overtake Alguersuari for 12th position.
Rosberg upto 5th as Button three stop-strategy did not paid off.
Lap 56:
Perez overtakes Alguersuari for 14th. Alguersuari dives in pits for the tyre change.
Lap 57:
Vettel lap the car ahead of him. Lapped Barrichello who is running in 15th.
Sutil and Perez fighting for 13th position and hit each other to gain position. Perez takes the lead. As they fight, Vettel passes both the car without a hitch.
Lap 58:
As Vettel pass, Sutil takes on Perez to get the position back on the last lap.
Chequered Flag way in : Sebastian Vettel won the race. Turkish GP, 2011 from pole to podium. This is his 3rd win of the season, 13th win of his career.
Webber just cross the line ahead of Alonso.
As the race ends, Perez and Sutil crossed the line 0.0 sec separated a lap down. Barrichello also cross the line just 0.1sec ahead of Alguersuari.
