Mark Webber admits he may have to find a new team when the Formula One season and his contract with Red Bull come to an end.
The 34-year-old Australian's year-by-year contract expires at the end of the season.
He finished 2010 in third spot in the drivers' championship and sits fourth after three races despite a tough start to this campaign.
Webber told Italian magazine La Stampa he would consider his options, including switching to another team, when the season finishes in Brazil at the end of November.
"When this championship ends, my contract with Red Bull does as well," he said.
We'll see. If the team doesn't want me anymore, I will have to ask myself a question - hang up my helmet or change teams?"
"But I don't think it depends on the results. I want to win for me.
Red Bull team-mate Sebastian Vettel has made an explosive start to 2011, winning two of the first three rounds and sitting 31 points clear of Webber.
But Webber said he was capable of backing up on last year's result and insists Vettel is beatable.
"I'm determined. Last year, I fought for the title and I want to do it again," Webber said.
"Sebastian is very fast and he now has a good amount of experience, but he's not unbeatable. I prefer not to talk about his weaknesses, but we all have them."
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has not ruled out having Webber part of his team next year, particularly if he produces another strong season.
Webber will have the chance to get his title ambitions back on track at the Turkish Grand Prix in Istanbul on Sunday.
