Formula One Force India F1 team launches its hunt for next F1 Driver from India.
Force India Formula One Academy will train 3 Indian Kids to become the next genre F1 Star.

Formula 1 Force India Team in association with Mobil 1 (Mobil 1 being the title sponsor for the program) starts a Force India Formula One Team Academy that will select the 3 finalist that will have their future in F1 where Force India will pay for their trainings, improvements and other and they will try to qualify for F1 Super License.
The contest what started with an April Fool Joke, when they put on their Facebook, Twitter Ids about a contest to test VJM05 in Silverstone could become a reality for an Indian Kid. They then announced on 1st April, that they will try for SuperLicense.
Any Indian (including NRI, kids from Indian origin) with an age group of 14 to 17 can compete in the competition.
There will be initial qualification that is regional selection round.
The venue for regional qualification includes - Mumbai, Chennai, Goa, Kolhapur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Amritsar.
Also the safety comes first for Force India - Each driver will be provided with a driving suit and a helmet.
Qualifying Criteria - Each entrant must have driven at least 10 laps at the venue as for pre-qualifying. Each driver will be given a time slot to attend the circuit where they will be given an opportunity to drive 5 laps where their fastest lap will be recorded. The top 14 drivers from each city will go through to the final.
The top 14 drivers will be selected for the National Finals. A total of 98 participants will be selected for the National Finals.
Additionally organisers / sponsors reserve the right to take two 'wild card' entries.

Insight: The domain www.onefromabillion.com was registered on 5th April, 2011. So the team had finally planned to do that only after 1st April. The joke could become reality for the lucky ones.
