Force India reserve driver Nico Hulkenburg is willing to do to secure sponsor’s cash – offer to have their logo tattooed on his forearm!
Hulkenberg has recognised the need to get sponsor’s messages to fans but because there is no room left to display logos on driver overalls or the Formula 1 car they’ve turned to tattooing the sponsor’s arm on his left arm.
Katjes is the spoons behind the revolutionary plan – the first permanent agreement of its kink in Formula One.
Hulkenberg says it is an innovative way to display space and a sponsor message and a solid endorsement for the long-tem cooperation.
If things don’t work out between the two parties, the agreement includes provision to have the tattoo removed at the Katjes expense.
