Malaysia Grand Prix (Name changed from Malaysian Grand Prix) is the 2nd race of the 2011 season. This weekend expect the Rain to play the major role in the Race.

With Sebastian Vettel winning the Australian GP and winner of the last year Malaysian Grand Prix is looking strong enough to hold the ground as the race unfolds this Friday.

But he has to watch out from the improved Mclaren of Lewis Hamilton as he wowed to give better than Australia. Equally important are Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. Watch out for the underdogs Vitaly Petrov and Sergio Perez to turn the tables again.

2011 Sole Tyre Supplier, Pirelli could play a major role in deciding the winner in Malaysia. There can be Four Pit Stop required for the race due to higher temperatures and unusual degradation. The teams with a better tyre strategy just like that of Sergio Perez in Australia GP can change the point table around. Drivers like Lewis Hamilton who are hard on tyres should watch out and really need to save their tyres.

Circuit Information

The Sepang International Circuit designed by German Hermann Tilke. The track is 5.543 km long, and features 15 tight turns and 8 long high-speed straights.

Malaysia is always the home of F1 Crazy people as many youngster in Malaysia watch F1. The circuit received world wide acclaim. It also have some impressive pit garage facilities and spacious grandstands with many amenities.

The circuit track is also a favourite of many racers, with smooth and sweeping corners, a few tight hairpins and a wide straight.

Team Lotus have already started the F1 fever in Malaysia with the street demo in Putrajaya.

Prediction

There is a heavy possibility of Rain in Kaula Lumpur. So it is even harder to predict.

But as seen with the Red Bull pace and Reliability - Both Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber looks a strong contender as they dominated the race in 2010 also. But there cars are always hard on tyres. So as Pirelli is not tested on this kind of track there can be a lot of problems that might arise for the team.

There can be master of Rain Lewis Hamilton or Fernando Alonso or The 7 Time World Champion Michael Schumacher who could turn the table in Malaysia.

So, our Reckoning goes with the above five drivers.

Others who can perform better in rain are Force India Adrain Sutil and Mclaren Jenson Button.
