The doctor treating Robert Kubica claimed that the Formula One star Robert Kubica's ability to return to competition won't be known until the summers.

Renault F1 Driver, Robert Kubica who had suffered from multiple fractures from a Rally Crash Accident on 6th Feb, 2011 is improving quickly and most probably will be out of Hospital before April End.

The doctor further added that after a brief stay at his home in Monaco, he would return to Italy to begin his rehabilitation program at a clinic owned by Dr. Riccardo Ceccarelli, who is also Lotus Renault GP's team doctor.

"We'll understand six months after the accident [if and when Kubica can return to racing]," Ceccarelli told Italy's Gazzetta dello Sport.

"We need to wait for nature to run its course even though, knowing Robert, we are confident in his recovery strength . Gym workout will help him feel like a racing driver again."

Ceccarelli continued: "We'll keep in touch with the people who have followed [Kubica] these months, first of all Dr.[Igor] Rossello, who operated on the right hand, but we'll also look for more specialists.

"We have set up a pool of at least four people able to follow him during his daily six to eight hours of work, and we are getting a special treadmill that allows you to put the load over the right leg only partially.

Due to his hand, leg, shoulder and elbow, Robert combines three patients into one.

"Rebuilding the nerves [in Kubica's hand] is the longest process, so it's difficult to understand in the first four months what the recovery will be like. He has good sensitivity, but not in every spot. The hand is there and will regain good functionality," the doctor said.

"The leg poses little problem. Robert places the load on the left one and has started to load the other one progressively."

Robert is now able to stand and walk although with a bit of assistance as we hope to see him return to Formula 1.

After undergoing successful final surgery, Kubica was currently recovering quickly under the rehabilitation program.

Recently Kubica had announced to attend late pope John Paul second's Beatification.
