Renault's Eric Boullier was appointed vice-chairman of the Formula One Teams' Association (FOTA) on Sunday, replacing Ferrari's Stefano Domenicali.
McLaren's Martin Whitmarsh remains as FOTA chairman, the body said in a statement after its first executive committee meeting of the year at the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Ferrari technical director Aldo Costa replaced Mercedes team principal Ross Brawn as chairman of FOTA's technical regulations working group.
Red Bull's Christian Horner remained in place as head of the sporting regulations working group.
FOTA groups together 11 of the 12 teams, with tail-enders HRT withdrawing from the association last December.
