Click to follow news

As of Formula One Official Pre Season Testing Ended on a good note. Lets move to the first race of the season in Melbourne, Australia on 27th March, 2011.

Pre-Season Testing has seen lot of drama.

A Quick Review to what had happened.

First of all, let us talk about criticism:

As many drivers were seen criticizing their challenger car. The Mclaren duo Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button were always seen on the criticizing note for their car MP4-26 as it is way off the pace from front running teams Red Bull and Ferrari.

We have seen Red Bull duo Mark Webber and World Champion Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari Driver Fernando Alonso with Lewis Hamilton criticizing Pirelli tyres, rule changes and many more.

With F1 Boss suggesting for Artificial Rain, lot of drivers (particularly) and others have criticized the team boss over the idea, but some had welcomed the idea too (including US GP promoter Tavo Hellmund).

And finally criticism over Bahrain GP and Hermann Tilke poorly designed circuits.

Then controversies and Fights:

Ferrari and Ford Trade Mark Infringement case over Ferrari car name to F150.

Red Bull duo Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber openly admitting, they are here to win title and beat each other, and not brothers.

Controversy of Paid driver seat in HRT as the team claiming to have budget but people often judge the team as back marker without budget to be in F1.

Bernie Ecclestone: "No Angel: The Secret Life of Bernie Ecclestone"

Launch of F1 Cars and Driver Line ups:

Pre Season Testing had allowed the F1 Fans to enjoy the glimpse of F1 2011 challengers with list of Drivers being announced regularly (including reserve and test drivers). (HRT as always was running behind the schedule...)

Poor o Poor Renault Robert Kubica:

Renault Driver Robert Kubica out of 2011 season after suffering from lot of injuries due to rally crash accident on 6th Feb.

Bahrain Unrest caused first race of the season being cancelled:

Michael Schumacher and Mercedes 2011 speculation to be in front:

There was always a speculation of Mercedes being a front runner competing with Fav. Red Bull and Ferrari with parts upgrades and also there were concerns of being left out of pack to fight for title again this season. But if Mercedes perform, then Michael will surely hit and provides a spectacular view to his fan following.

With an end to Pre-Season testing, Lets wait to see, what will happen in Australia GP. Who will be on top and what will be the results out their. Right now, clearly Red Bull and Ferrari have emerged stronger than others with Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber looking strong.

Michael and Massa are also in contention, but as we never know what will the season hold for us...........

Lots of rule changes this year.......

Lots of drama.....

It is not just pace, but driver talent is also important. So who will have the final laugh is much of a question to ask???
