The (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile) has announced that it will be reviewing the layout of circuits as it seeks to increase overtaking in Formula One.
Several measures have been put in place over recent years to try and improve the show for spectators and viewers, such as adjustable rear wings and the reintroduction of KERS this season.
But some believe that the tracks used are also a major reason behind the lack of action, with many of the new Herman Tilke-designed circuits coming in for criticism.
And the FIA has now announced that "the Circuit Design Group is examining grand prix circuits to identify the possibility of increasing the opportunities for overtaking".
FIA president Jean Todt recently commented that "we need to favour overtaking", adding it was "impossible" at last year's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where championship challenger Fernando Alonso was stuck behind Vitaly Petrov for much of the race.
